Euro 2012 Qualifiers - Final Round Preview


The biggest games from the last round of Euro 2012 Qualifiers to be played on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Previewing the matches while getting my Mourinho on and predicting the starting lineups:




Germany - Belgium
Germany wants to remain perfect while Belgium wants to win and clinch a berth in the playoffs.


Germany - 4-3-3:
Neuer - Lahm, Mertesacker, Howedes, Badstuber - Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Gotze - Podolski, Muller, Gomez

Belgium - 4-4-2:
Mignolet - Kompany, Van Buyten, Vertonghen, Ciman - Simons, Witsel, Hazard, Defour - Mertens, Vleminckx

Ireland - Armenia
Winner takes second spot in the group and proceeds to playoffs.


Ireland - 4-4-2

Armenia - 4-3-3

Sweden - Netherlands
Sweden needs to improve playoff seeding, Holland wants to stay perfect.

Spain - Scotland
Spain wants eight wins from eight.  Scotland needs to win to ensure playoff progression.

Scotland - 4-4-2

Slovenia - Serbia
Serbia needs to win to get into the playoffs. Slovenia just doesn't like Serbia very much and would love to be the ones denying them from moving forward.

Both are through to playoffs at least, but winner finishes top of the group.
